He's a proven leader, and a great guy. Being president of the Players' Association also says a lot. He also has played with 4 of the Pistons' current 5 starters, and was a part of the first year of our current 6 year Eastern Conference Finals runs (with Chauncey, Rip, and Tayshaun). He played with Rasheed in Washington. I see the Pistons working well with him, and respecting him. Now that the coaching position is set, it'll be interesting to see where the summer heads with the players.
