US Olympian Tayshaun Prince
What’s Going on World?
John W. Davis here. The Olympics are now in our midst and you know what, I’m excited. The Olympics bring the world together if only for 2 weeks. I’m just glad they are here.
As Pistons’ fans we need to be glad that Tayshaun Prince is there to represent not only the USA but the Detroit Pistons. He is a shining example of what a Piston should be. He is a smart, efficient and hard-working basketball player who night after night, gives his all.
Check out a few pictures of Tayshaun doing his USA Olympic Basketball thing:

Nice spot about Tay here. I’m glad he’s on the Olympic team, I just wish they’d give him more playing time. They’re treating him like the 12th man.
He didn’t get into the game against China until the US was up by, what, 27 points in the 4th?
Team USA is filled with NBA starters, so these are all guys who know how to play the game. Tayshaun, in my opinion, is a lot better than some of the people who are getting play time ahead of him.

Tayshaun was the last choice over Tyson Chandler to get in. They will need his defense later in the Olympics and he will prove his worth then.
