Stupid money. :(

:)

Yeah, Adonal Foyle was picked #8 in the draft in 1997 and I think I could probably do better than his career averages when I'm at 6'1".

3 years/15 mil is what the team is offering to extend Maxiell, but i'm sure he can make more on the open market. With that said, if I was him I would take it and continue to learn under Sheed and Dice and then cash in when he is around 28.

And that's a shame, because you should be playing for the love of the game, not for the love of money.

Yeah but I know he wants money too. Money over prestige is what most NBA players take.

Yeah, I see what you're saying.

I think I read somewhere that he wants to stay in Detroit, though.

I don't exactly remember what article it was I was reading.

I dont think he will be happy as a bench player. He will probably want to start sometime soon and I dont like Amir and Maxiell together as a starting tandem.

I think so. He's a great asset to the team.

He's an excellent shot blocker, an excellent rebounder, and can get garbage buckets off offensive rebounds.

I don't think he could really be immediately replaceable.

I don't think anyone else besides Maxiell could've blocked Chandler like that, or have gotten Garnett in the playoffs.

Not many people would've tried to block Chandler once he was up that high -- it proves that Maxiell plays with great heart, going out there night in and night out to give it his all.

I mean, look at this picture:

Rasheed's just showing how Maxiell plays basketball (so much tenacity), and at the same time, he's showing him what teams do after Maxiell's done with them.

Yeah, Maxiell is a BEAST! He's so great at uplifting the team on the court with his energy.

I've seen that block many times on YouTube, and it never gets old. Amazing.
