Rasheed on the Trading Block?

What’s Going on World?

John W. Davis here. So I here that Rasheed Wallace might be on the trading block. Hmmm…

Here is what RealGM.com had to say:

Many believe that the Pistons will field trade offers for forward Rasheed Wallace if the team continues to struggle.

“That’s a ‘Mark Cuban move,’ ” said an Eastern Conference executive. “Cuban would take Rasheed, no question. It would be bold, but he knows he’s got to do something to spark his team.”

——————————–

I think we should keep him. We can’t do much worse and Rasheed’s is a soon to be free agent. Let the Pistons bear the fruit of the free agency tree unless they are giving up Dirk, better yet J “Triple Double” Kidd. :)

Peace,

John W. Davis

Can’t do it! Can’t trade such a vocal leader. He’s an excellent locker room leader, and a floor coach.

Not many would’ve been able to hit the three to ensure the win the other night.

Sheed did.

We can’t deal him now.

no there not check mlive.com/pistons

John W. Davis December 15th at 2:43 pm

I dont see it Richard. Post a link for us.

I’d take Dirk in a second for Sheed. It’s Dirk freakin’ Nowitzki.

“Forget about it

There was a report in the New York Daily News the Pistons were taking trade calls on Rasheed Wallace . Not true, Pistons president Joe Dumars said Sunday. He said the Pistons were not trading Wallace — period.”

Thanks Richard!

John December 15th at 10:49 pm

I thought there were no “sacred cows.” How are the Pistons not trading Rasheed period?

Ryan December 15th at 11:36 pm

Hmm, I don’t know, but I do know that I don’t want to lose Rasheed from the D.

Darian December 15th at 11:58 pm

Yo Richard I heard from a little birdie that a new show is on the way.

nate December 16th at 10:11 pm

hey. theres no way we should give up sheed. we have safe contracts on tay and rip. next year AI goes and stuckey takes over full time at point. at this point we have stuckey at the 1, rip at the 2, and tay at 3.

Now for the big men. We have sheed and 20 million bucks to spend. We sign c-bosh to a long contract. Our starting 5 is now as follows.

1-A more experienced Rodney Stuckey

2-Rip, whos getting more looks with an unselfish stuckey at point

3-tay, whos always a plus. he brings a little bit of everything to the table

4-rasheeedd wallace, good defensive big man with an outside shot

5-chris bosh(now in his prime) as a scorer who gets boards in the process.

Now, for the next season. if we had a succesful season, we resign sheed and do it again. if not, we can always let sheed go and tryan build a team around a newly-aquired star. (ex. lebron, kobe, ect.)

Darian December 17th at 10:09 pm

haha yah john thats right! we are keeping sheed because the pistonscast posse said so! :) lol

John December 17th at 10:28 pm
