I thought Walt was supposed to contribute from the get go?

Richard January 2nd at 8:58 pm

I thought so too but I think it’s a good decision

Yeah that’s ironic since Sharpe was w/ the team to learn from them, rather than in the D-league.

But I like it as Acker and Sharpe weren’t going to get playing time anyways.

I think Walter Sharpe was supposed to play over Walter Hermmann but “THE HERMM” just came out firing this year and has never looked back!

Great game by Stuckey again.

Does anyone else realized that Stuckey, in just 16 career starts, has scored more points in a game twice than Chauncey ever did in 696 career starts?

Stuck’s scored 38 and 40 while Chauncey’s high was 37.

Crazy.

yeah herrman has been pretty good this year so i think hes getting more attention then these two. hope there good in the d league.

I’m glad — now they get some competition, rather than competing for who has the best suit.

John January 4th at 3:08 pm

haha thats funny man.

Mike Watson January 4th at 6:42 pm

Thats a damn good point Steve

John January 4th at 11:04 pm

Let me just say to Steve and Mike its not all about scoring. I like the fact that we are 13 and 3 this year with Stuckey Starting. That is way more impressive that a couple of 38 and 40 point scoring nights.

Steve January 4th at 11:37 pm

John,

I totally agree that’s it much more than just scoring points, but still….I think it’s a very interesting fact.

But so far Stuckey’s early career has been way better than Chauncey’s early career.

Detroit @ Denver is gonna be a good game for sure.

I think the ability to put up points is very important to this Pistons team. There is no longer a Ben Wallace to anchor the dominant defense that complimented that steady offense which was built around team work and sharing the ball.

Let us not forget the Pistons are chasing the Celtics. Thats the team we are building up for. We are going to need players who can go and get points by themselves at times when the offense struggles

Also, because of the Celtics strong defense, we’ll need our established leaders to elevate their games even more. Just be glad we have guys who can give you forty when you need it. I think we’re all tired of other teams superstars doing it to us.

John January 5th at 12:34 am

What an interesting name Pimp Scwalla? What does that mean? :)

Pimp Scwalla January 5th at 1:09 am

So is John. What does it stand for..Johnnie, Jon Bonjovi, Johnnie Bread, or John Boy?

Mike Watson January 5th at 2:30 am

LOL

Mike Watson January 5th at 2:37 am

Man WTF is a Johnnie Bread! LMAO!!

I’m totally impressed with everything thats going on with the PISTONS right now. People we’re hoping off the bandwagon so quick because things weren’t going our way. But now it looks like things are shaping up and we’re starting to gel.

We need to just continue to give Curry a shot and see how things go. He seems to have very good basketball knowledge and respect from his player even A.I. When I look at him talking to the players on the sidelines I see he’s not afraid to get in anyone’s face. Something Flip couldn’t do.

A John I made a new video to, bout Stuckey going for 40 check it out an let me know what u think…

I agree Mike, we should just be good little fans and see this thing all the way through.

Flip can put his suits together a lot better than curry can. Dude is horrible! He had on a ghost-white suit and shiny brown poke-dot tie. I’m sure there are a box full of memos that coach never got regarding his color selections.

By the way, Johnny Bread (decided to go with the lone “y” instead of “ie” ending) is a version of cornbread.

John January 5th at 9:07 am

@ Mike I love the Vid. I wish the music was edited so I could post it as a blog!

Ryan January 5th at 5:55 pm

Stuckey got Eastern Conference Player of the Week!

John W. Davis January 5th at 6:51 pm

I think I figured out why Sharpe and Acker were sent down: D-League Showcase

Its this week.

Easy way to gauge your young guys and scout the whole d league at once!

Mike Watson January 5th at 8:52 pm

O yeah my bad about that. It’s just how i listen to it. Next video I’ll edit the music
