I also have mixed feelings about the Amar'e. Instead of leaning towards him coming here, I was leaning in the direction of him not. But you made two very strong points and I'll add a third. !. Defense is about desire 2. He makes us more competitive (closer to Boston). 3. He will be out to prove something to the Suns for trading him. I think at the end of the game i trust either one of those 2 with the ball in their hands if we need a basket. -the way i feel about amare is that i am not really sure if he is a good fit.. i lean more towards the yes side and i think its completely crazy to not go for him because he is such a great player and teams have a horrible time guarding him, he is not in his 30's like sheed and defense is about desire so if he wants to be good at defense he sure could.. i think competitively he would help us a huge amount.. think about having him and going up against the celtics or lakers.. i think its a huge advantage -i dont think dice should start i love his role from the bench.. i remember when flip started him he always said how he is more comfortable coming off of the bench and he prefered it.
