It’s not what you know, it’s who you know-to dunk on!

By Deven Khrucell aka Pimpscwalla
You mean to tell me that years ago, when I used to go see the Detroit Lions practice, all I had to do was tackle Barry Sanders in the Silver Dome parking-lot and I could have been famous?
I think Nike Messed up on this one. They just should have let everyone see the king get posterized. Now Lebron looks like a scared coward.
I wonder what his Nike advisors will have him tell the media? I can just see him in an interview telling them “I have no recollection of any sort of dunk video.” Then when the tape is released, we’ll have a “dunkergate” conspiracy.
Kobe’s image was almost ruined by his actions with a woman and now if he doesn’t handle this correctly Lebron’s image could be tainted by two points.

Following Ali, although this is a little off-topic; John Keuster was an assistant coach under Larry Brown for 7 years!
I didn’t realize he spent so much time (hopefully learning) with Brown.
Also, one of the first things Keuster said was that he was going to work the defense first, and when the defense comes the offense can come. :}

Yar, didn’t any of you read the article I’ve been telling you about? Kuester has a much closer relationship to Larry Brown than you guys think. He also played for him for a few years and they happen to be great friends because they both played under Dean Smith, greatest coach ever.
Astrid July 10th at 1:10 pm
No Ali, I don’t have time to read your essays.
But uhm, also! Keuster had to take over as head coach for a few games when Mike Brown got ejected. Also, Keuster is often the guy drawing up the plays.
I like the Pistons with set plays. :>

This post was just for fun. Beside, we never stay on subject anyways!

I’ll be on/ off topic here. First, Lebron. Sooner or later he’s gonna get dunked on during his career. It might not be by some college kid, but getting dunked on happens to everyone. There’s no shame in it. But there is shame about the way he goes through things.
Now the coach. I didn’t watch his press conference, but after coach Curry’s accountability b.s. I can care less about what comes out of these people’s mouths. Since I like LB, I’ll give him some leway. But eveyone always has nice things to say when they just get hired.

Good point Dre! I think Kuester is accepted mostly because of LB. The truth is, we don’t really know how good he will be.
Ali July 10th at 10:17 pm
Astrid I didn’t write it, it’s a truehoop article that’s very well written.
I give up, I guess I’m the only one who enjoys a good read. Ohh well.
Good news about the summer league so far. Summers dominated. I’ve been saying this since the draft, I think we blew the first round when Holiday was still on board, but we got 3 steals in the second round. If only there was room in the rotation for Chase Budinger…
Astrid July 11th at 1:10 pm
Well.. then I missed your link to it.
