Finally the video of Lebron getting dunked on!
Hiding this video made it a lot worse than it had to be. Nike and Lebron should be ashamed!

There’s a better view here:

This reminds me of a movie that has so much hype and it turns out to be a huge letdown. Kinda reminds me of the movie The Happening. M.Night Shamalan has his first R rated movies and everyone was excited. Turned out to be whack. The quality and angle of the video is so bad, Lebron could’ve just denied it was him.

Right Dre! Keep the Lie alive!!
One-Take Davis July 23rd at 6:59 am
I just remembered Jordan Crawford’s brother is Joe Crawford.
Former McDonald’s All American who played at Detroit Renaissance.
Yeah Lebron haddddddddddddddddddddd nothing to be ashamed of!
But One-Take Davis agrees he looks real bad right now.
HE GOT TMZ’ed!

As I said from the start, LeBron get what LeBron want (yes the bad grammar was on purpose). Quite frankly he just made himself look more spoiled with this stunt, I’d be willing to put money on the table that no one would have thought more than half an hour about it had the video gone public.
Also I just fixed my main computer, meaning I can finally hear the episodes.
I agree the biggest flaws with smallball were playing Tay at the 4 and the pace we played at. I believe Kevin Sawyer had also brought this up a few days earlier, pointing out that the major issues were that we didn’t rebound or get enough shot attempts.
In the past, Detroit always lead the league in offensive rebounding, fewest turnovers and most shots per 48 minutes. And it didn’t hurt that they were in the top 5 for blocked shots and defensive rebounding. That’s how they could get away with shooting only 40% from the field with no free throws.
Also I don’t think you can play Daye at the 2 because they just are not quick enough laterally. Daye had horrible combine numbers; Kevin Durant is a freak of an athlete, you can’t compare the two. At best, you hope Daye disrupts the passing lane. Not likely he’ll be able to keep up with Wade or Ray Allen.
I think the best way you roll with longball is going with Stuckey, Rip, Daye, CV31 and Wilcox. That’s a very mobile team that’s also extremely tall. Your reserves (in positional order) would be Bynumite, Gordan, Summers, Jerebko and Brown. Even though this team is far from contending, that’s still a very deep team. In fact I doubt you would have much fall off with the second unit at all because they’ll be going up against inferior bench players.
Now you just hope that their length will help them rebound, because none of them are truly strong enough to clean the boards like Dyess could.
Personally, I would trade Tay as fast as I could to Portland. They’re trying to get him, and we’ve got plenty of small forwards right now. Right now we need more size inside; as much as you guys hate Przybilla, statistically he is the best rebounding big for the price range. Throw in Rudy Fernandez into the deal (word is he wants out) and you also add to your 3 point shooting, which you can never have enough with the way the league has morphed and you will end up with fiscal flexibility. Or you could take on a slightly larger salary and get a first round pick in return, either way you improve the team.
As is, I believe Tay holds more value on the block than he does on the team. Not to mention, in a few years he’ll be old and will hold little trade value anyways.
I’m not sure who the team leader is. Personally I hope Stuckey steps up, because then he’ll truly be a lead guard, not just a guy that initiates the offense.
And here’s your weekly mega post, courtesy of the brown man. This may turn into a weekly thing for me, since my college projects are picking up, after that I’ve got camp in August and by the time I get back I’ll be taking courses at the U of M.

Ali, for your own sake, do not let any of your college recruiters read any of your takes on here!
Your take on Tayshaun Prince alone, is enough for them to say, “Yeah…ummm…we’re sorry but we’re gonna have to say no to your request for admittance. Your idea about trading Tay to Portland for Joel Penicillin shows us that you must be on drugs and we don’t tolerate that sort of behavior at our Institution.”
Listen, Boston wanted to steal Max from us. Why? Because he’s a “Specialist.” He specializes in rebounds and blocked shots.
When you are trying to win a championship, specialists are like GOLD! Boston knows that with another guy who guarantees them rebounds and blocked shots, it increases they’re chances to win it all.
Tayshsun Prince is also a specialist–but much much more! He’s great defender that can also be the focus on offense any given night-he can turn himself into what ever you need!
The only time you trade guy’s like these is when you have another one (which we don’t yet), or using his worth to rebuild from scratch by adding an impact player to your line-up (using him to acquire Chris Bosh).
Yes a lot of people want him! Because they see his value. I see his value and obviously Joe D (Thank God!) sees it too.
Ali that leaves you and maybe a few!
Damn boy! You got me writing like you!!

I actually sound like Yoda, but I do have a three blue afro’s stacked on top of my head though.
What about a Bynum/Stuckey/Gordon rotation. Of course Stuckey and Gordon get the bulk of the minutes.
I just.. trust Bynum. I watched him get his career high and I know he’s not THAT explosive or that great of a shooter, but I think he can give 10+ points, 4+ assists in 15-20 minutes.
I also just love watching the small guy (in comparison) drive on people like KG fearlessly (sure as hell Stuckey wasn’t gonna do it - not last year).
Astrid July 24th at 10:17 am
That wasn’t so clear.
Stuckey starts at the 1, Gordon at the 2.
Gordon is the first out. Bynum comes in at point, Stuckey to the 2.
Stuckey out, Gordon in. Bynum out, Stuckey in.
On and on~
I think Washington would work though. SG slashers (and in Washington’s case) could give us scoring, energy (EXPLOSIVENESS, I’m tired of jumpers however pretty they look), and defense.
Deven aka (Pimpscwalla) July 24th at 10:52 am
It’s going to be interesting to see Bynum in his sophomore season with Detroit.
He was able to have a lot of success last season partly because no one had him on their scouting reports. That was a major reason we lost the big game to Chicago that gave us the 8 seed.
I still think he’s a weapon. If you can cause a team to change their entire defensive philosophy to stop you–that’s saying a lot!
No sophomore Jinks!!
Richard July 24th at 1:19 pm
personally i feel its a done deal that Big ben will be back next season
Mike Watson July 24th at 1:51 pm
Yeah Deven thats a good point I remember watching the telecast that evening and Greg Kelser said it himself that Chicago scouted Bynum and stopped him from doing what he does. They called it “respect”
Deven aka (Pimpscwalla) July 24th at 2:41 pm
Yes Mike, and if there’s one guy to blame for Arron getting traded, besides himself, it Will Bynum. He was too productive for the Pistons not to play him.
Astrid July 24th at 4:09 pm
He has a pretty pull up jumper…
Deven aka (Pimpscwalla) July 24th at 4:53 pm
I know that’s what makes defending Bynum so tough.
Hopefully that’s what Stuckey is working on all summer–his jumpshot.
Mike Watson July 24th at 6:35 pm
Stuckey needs to work on his leadership, voice and swag… he sounds like a lil girl when he be doing his interviews
Deven aka (Pimpscwalla) July 25th at 12:35 am
One thing about Chauncey, he was certainly the league leader in swag. Stuckey could definitely use some of his swag.
Deven aka (Pimpscwalla) July 25th at 12:38 am
Richard, i heard that they’ll probably sign Ben with the vet min at $1.3 mil once the season starts.
Astrid July 25th at 7:49 am
Hopefully Deven.
If he has that outside shot then people’ll be scared to give him space, and once they do that Stuckey can just turn the corner and it’s an easy layup - if help comes, dish for the outside shot (even Villy - as you like to call him - can stand outside there, leaving the lanes open), pump-fake & take the foul/put the ball on the floor.
Deven aka (Pimpscwalla) July 25th at 10:50 am
Astrid with the play-by-play!
Astrid July 25th at 11:13 am
People keep talking about how Stuckey needs to become the leader, I agree - but in reality, do you think he’ll assume that role (this year)?
John W. Davis July 25th at 2:10 pm
@Astrid. Thats the next show is about Pistons Leadership!!!! BLog talk radio Monday 7/27 6pm EST
