With the current economic state, I'm sure you'd be able to get a very good player in a salary dump for Kwame alone. That is, if the pistons cheap management finally decides to spend some luxury tax money. Maxiell offers a better offensive package, but he also is considerably undersized (height wise) and can only match up with bigs without a midrange game. Not to mention he's always been a mediocre defensive rebounder - he likes to do his job on the offensive boards. While that's a good skill to have, we already have tons of firepower and guys like Jerebko and Washington have shown to be great put back guys. I'm really surprised that this went through for 2 reasons. 1. Okafor has a long term contract 2.
