I mean the guy still makes the same $250,000 whether they released him now or in January, why not give the cat a chance? I feel so bad for the guy, he came into training camp with a guaranteed contract, thinking he had finally made it, only to lose out to a 35 year old who won't play. Seriously Joe, you gave away Afflalo because of Washington. I must say Afflalo was my favorite player last season; Denver is already in love with him (just read some of their blogs).
