Who Should The Pistons Draft With The 7th Pick?

I went with Donatas Motiejunas because when I compared him to the other bigs he can put the ball on the floor plus drive left or right AND shoot left or right. If you line him up to damn near any big in the league with that type of versatility he’ll be unstoppable plus he’s shown improvement in almost every area throughout the year so his upside could be amazing. I don’t fear European league guys because I think that college can be hinderance since it can be a little too plush and comfortable while Euro League dudes aren’t pampered like college guys can be.

I assume you have actually seen him play on tv because you live in Europe?

Do you think he can become an all-star?

I saw mentions of him and highlights but watched some stuff the other day and he does has potential. I think there are very few players who you can honestly project to be all stars because it’s a mixture of talent and hype (look how many “All Stars” didn’t make it this year). All I know is that on paper this dude has a big upside the only thing no one mentions is his passing because I think a stretch big needs good-to-great passing skills.

I want to say the pick will either be Udoh or Ed Davis, although neither player excites me too much. The Pistons definitely need some athleticism in the front court with good size. That should eliminate Aldrich.

Its official the Pistons are for sale according to detroit free press the team is officially on the block but it also says and the article that the league wants to keep the pistons in detroit which is good to hear. Who should the pistons choose in the draft, I would love to see Derrick Favors in a pistons uniform although I don’t think we could get him with the 7th pick.
