I tend to say lottery. Having a chance at a Top 7 pick is pretty good nowadays. Washington was projected to the get the number 5 pick. They got number one and selected John Wall. Philly was slotted to get the Number 6 pick. They got number 2 and got Evan Turner.

It's something about that middle lottery slot that tends to get a Top 3 pick a lot of the time.

However, the Pistons have won 4 out 6. I believe they can keep this up, meaning 7th or 8th spot here we come!

Brown, who said he's bored without basketball, joined Wright for a team breakfast. Wildcats players and coaches took turns talking to Brown and shaking hands.

Joe D, call him! "I would like to" coach again, Brown said. "I don't want to end the way this one ended. Right now, the most important thing is I'm getting time with my family."

The 70-year-old Brown, a Hall of Fame coach, was in the third season of his 13th professional and college head coaching job. He left with an 88-108 mark for the Bobcats. His 1,327 victories in the ABA and NBA are nine shy of supplanting Don Nelson for the most all-time.

Mmm-mm!

Arron Afflalo (I love saying that name) stat line from recent game.

31 points on 11-14 (2-4 from three), 7-7 at the line, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.

I'm beyond bias.

<3 Afflalo

If the Rip trade goes through we will be able to see what the team is made of. While I like what T-Mac brings to the table at point I don't think we should hand him the keys to the offense when we don't know if he'll be around next year (or even at the trade deadline). I'd like to see him take bynum's spot as backup PG and play heavy mins with stuckey. I'd also like to see Daye at the two alongside TMac because that's the matchup problems we've all dreamed about. Coach K needs to insert Monroe into the lineup permanently and Charlie V can come off the bench.

Try something radical! Two terrible seasons in a row is all we can take (especially the international fans who have to put up with hordes or Lakers glory supporters)

It's time to make a big change. I don't care what, dropping 2-3 'big' names in as many days would be a good start, but Dumars and Kuester need to stop playing around with the roster and make a huge change to inspire the team, raleigh the fans support and make basketball headlines.

Pistons are close to moving Rip. They're in a three team deal with Denver and New Jersey.

Happy New Year Pistonscast!

Resolutions:
1. Trade Rodney Stuck, Stuck, Stuckey
2. Don't Re-sign Stuckey or Tayshaun if not traded.
3. Be wise with the money from expired contracts.
