Do you want Amare or Chris Bosh?

by John W. Davis - posted Sunday, February 8th, 2009

What’s Going on World?

Rumors are swirling in the NBA and the Detroit Pistons are they eye of the storm.

First it was Amare to the Pistons. Now. its Chris Bosh to the Pistons.

Can we have both?

No seriously, can we have both. Follow me here: Three team trade: Detroit, Toronto and Phoenix.

Detroit trades: AI, Sheed, Max and 1st round Pick.

Toronto trades: Chris Bosh and Kris Humphries

Phoenix trades: Amar’e and Grant Hill (Stoudemire would welcome Detroit trade)

Now this is what every team gets back in return.

Phoenix gets Sheed and Maxiell. They get a starting compliment to Shaq and a beast inside off the bench who will compete every night.

Toronto gets AI and 1st round pick. Think about it. Jermaine O’neal wants to be the man inside. Bargnani is actually really good when he starts. They have Calderon at PG and Jamario Moon and Anthony “Candace Parker’s Brother” Parker at SF. All they need is that star 2-guard someone who wants to be the man.

Toronto is a city that would embrace Allen Iverson. I believe Allen Iverson would embrace Toronto and retire a Happy NBA Hall of Famer. If it doesn’t work out they will have 20+ million in cap room.

Detroit gets Amare Stoudemire, Chris Bosh, Grant Hill and the throw in Kris Humphries. It sounds crazy but is it really? Detroit has cap space. Detroit has other great perimeter players in Stuckey, Rip and Tay. All we need is a beast post player. Someone who wants dunk on you every time. No questions asked and definitely no apologies. (*Also how cool would it be to bring Grant Hill home!)

How about not one of those players but two?

That’s not only the perfect deal but its also the perfect inside storm.

Peace,

John W. Davis
